WK45: 🇨🇦🍕PIZZA OVEN🍕🇺🇸in Niagara Falls on Niagara St is the shabbiest looking shack of a #sexyslices haven I ever did see😯. In the #pizza game, it’s about the most encouraging📈sign there is. I’ve been told there’s no relation to Pizza Oven in Lockport🚣‍♀️, but I think they use the same interior decorator and signage guy, both of whom seemingly paid him in pizza😐. Open seasonally💐, this wood-trimmed shed is cash only💰, boasts a whopping 5🖖toppings, and is slangin pies by the slice☝️, half✌️, or whole tray🤟. The vibe couldn’t be more my scene🕺🏻(barring a @therealcrazytown tribute band😍) but will these distinctive slices tickle my supple underbelly🐱? Me-Wow me, Pizza Oven😏.

Dough🥖:(D) Well shit😶. I’ve got a bad feeling about the whole game. Easily one of the most unique in WNY, but this #buffalopizza was not meant for yours truly💋. It’s razor thin, but gnocchi soft with zero crisp above, below, between and beyond #prepositions. Just a bouncy squishy bread mat🤸‍♀️.
.
.
Cheese🧀:(B+) For the style, I get it. It’s gotta be somewhat thin, and to their credit they’re working what they got💃. Herb-sprinkled and a solid crisp, which is great. That being said, I still need more coverage, and even considering the style, this needed another handful🤜for thickness.
.
.
Sauce🥫:(C+) Good quantity, but it’s Velvet Sweet👨🏾my least favorite of Sexy Pizzason & the Temptations🎙. Just not my style, though not the worst rendition I’ve experienced. Not an unbearable sugar hit🍬.
.
.
Pepperoni🍖:(D-) Thought I got the wrong order first…but the pepperoni are under the cheese😦. I’m an open-minded fella (it’s 2019 for Pete sake), but this is a bad execution in my opinion. The pepperoni are more or less uncooked. Furthermore, there were very few. Neat trick🧙‍♂️but I don’t recommend subterranean roni🚇🍕.

Overall🍕:(C-/C) This has gotta be one of those things you have to grow up with to enjoy. Like taking out-of-towners to @mymightytaco. I can see the history, dirt cheap pricing, seasonality, and unique styling making it a nostalgia-packed Summer tradition for Falls dwellers. But being outside that bubble, I just don’t have that itch to scratch.
